The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially announced the FMGE June 2026 session. The exam is scheduled for June 28, 2026 and is conducted as a computer-based test for foreign medical graduates seeking a license to practice in India.
Candidates must hold a recognized foreign medical degree and meet eligibility criteria defined by NBEMS. The qualification must be approved in the country of study and comply with NMC guidelines.
FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) is a mandatory licensing exam conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations) for Indian students who have completed MBBS abroad. Passing FMGE is required to practice medicine in India.

The Eligibility Certificate (EC) from the National Medical Commission (NMC) depends on when you joined your foreign medical course. For students after June 5, 2019, the NEET-UG scorecard acts as the EC.
